Description

Note: This design is based on the idea of AMS Plus by Hades2001 (CC BY 4.0). Since the original designs were unavailable, it had to be redesigned from scratch.

This remix requires the BambuLab AMS power supply. Use this model to install an LM2596 that will provide 5V.

 

I also recommend the RC522 Black Holders I designed for a more secure fit.

Changes compared to the original model

  • All the holes that housed the wireless power receiver are gone. In their place is the AMS+ logo that was previously on the wireless power transmitter.
  • The hole for the OLED screen and the methacrylate trim have been adjusted with the minimum available clearance.
  • Rectangular holes have been added so that the soldered pins on the PCB do not interfere with assembly.
  • All heat insert holes have been checked to ensure they fit correctly.

I made the following modifications to the PCB

  • Install a cable with a female JST RCY 2P connector to the power port.
  • Install Debug connector (J4): THT JST 7-Pin (1.25 pitch).
  • Install I2C connector (J5): THT PinSocket 1x04 (2.54 pitch).

 

Make sure you have correctly calibrated the flow and shrinkage of your filament.
