The "doubloon" in The Goonies is a valuable gold coin, which is the reward for the boys who will commit themselves in the search for One-Eyed Willy's treasure. The story is set in the town of Astoria, Oregon, where a group of boys, called "Goonies", try to save their community from an impending eviction by finding the pirate treasure
