Description

Pure 3d print quick disconnect for PTFE tube

Works with 2.5mm*4mm PTFE tube (bambu default provided tube)

Useful for switching filament, easy to switch to external spool for A1 printer

  • Pure 3d print, no need for pneumatic connector
  • Tightly fit PTFE tube
  • Firm connection
  • Easy to connect / disconnect
  • Minimal size

To install PTFE tube

Press the connector to the tube, apply some pressure and rotate the connector at the same time.

 

If the PTFE tube is too lose, maybe the PTFE tube is worn out, cut 1 cm of the tube and try again

Repeated install/uninstall of a PTFE will worn out the the PTFE tube, try to avoid.

 

Connect / Disconnect

Once installed PTFE tube on both end

Press the Male/Female connector togather to connect

If the filament have trouble going through the connected tube, try to pass the filament through before connecting

 

To disconnect, grab both end of the connector, wiggle and pull at the same time

The clamp can break if too much force is used, but the connector should still function even if the clamp is broken off

Having a PC4-M6 connector in the Dry Box, it's a bit redundant to use this connector, right

Just printed in Bambu Petg… These look great…and for together easily… I have some plans for these…so will add to the post when setup with tubes and tried out…
