Description

⛏️ A mysterious artifact found throughout the Gaulic provinces of the  roman empire archeologists currently do not have any idea as to what they may have been used for , were the purely decorative, religious or even practical for things like sock knitting? Many possible explinations have been given none of them proven. Here is small excerpt from the wiki page

“A Roman dodecahedron or Gallo-Roman dodecahedron[1][2] is a small hollow object made of copper alloy which has been cast into a regular dodecahedral shape with twelve flat pentagonal faces. Each face has a circular hole of varying diameter in the middle, the holes connecting to the hollow center, and each corner has a protruding knob.[1] Roman dodecahedra date from the 2nd to 4th centuries AD and their purpose remains unknown.[1] They rarely show signs of wear, and do not have any inscribed numbers or letters”

📜 I learned about these discoveries the other day and wanted to have one for my home and now you can too!

I based this one off of the photo on the wiki page

⚠️ Note on the model:

-the center when printed with supports can have supports stuck inside I recommend breaking them with a screwdriver for easy removal.

-The pins should fit in fairly snug but if any are loose I recommend a small drop of super glue.

📷 Photos of your prints would be awesome to see!
