Little Eden – Your Stained Glass-Style Mini Greenhouse

“Little Eden” is a DIY mini greenhouse project with a charming, stained-glass-inspired design. It combines hand-painted acrylic panels, playful artwork, and real functionality – perfect for makers, plant lovers, and anyone who enjoys creative builds.

🛠️ Build & Assembly

The greenhouse is made from several acrylic panels, each custom-decorated and assembled. The front panel is bent at a 45° angle at 68 mm width – simply warm the acrylic carefully with a torch lighter until flexible, then bend it precisely over a table edge to create a clean, straight fold.

✅ Smart Cutting Setup:

• The side panels (left and right) can be cut from a single acrylic sheet.
  Just cut the sheet in half, then trim the angles using the included templates – no waste, no guesswork.
• The front, back, and top panels are all 210 mm wide, matching standard A4 acrylic sheets.
  You only need to adjust the height, and yes – templates are included for those too.

I designed it this way to minimize cutting, avoid wasting material, and make it beginner-friendly. This was a popular request in my "Osher" project – so now it’s built right in!

🎨 Design & Decoration

The main panel features a cute dinosaur watering plants, surrounded by flowers. At the top, you’ll find the title "Makerworld", and at the bottom, "Little Eden".

On the front panel, I only included the dino with flowers – I deliberately left the rest blank to keep the view into the greenhouse clean and unobstructed.

🔧 Creative Tip:
I didn’t trace the artwork exactly as-is. Instead, I drew the dino myself and adjusted the layout, like moving the flowers farther to the edges.
Feel free to move, add, or draw elements however you like – make it your own!

The designs are bold and colorful, with thick black outlines – perfect for window paints, acrylic markers, or paint pens to achieve a vibrant stained-glass effect.

🪴 Planting Space

Inside, you can:

• Place small pots
• Or use the included 3D-printable insert for planting soil and seeds

It’s ideal for growing herbs or sprouts. I didn’t print the planting part myself (I plan to gift mine!), but the option is there if you want it.

• Hummingbird with floral vines in stained glass style
• ⚠️ One additional design features a well-known character. I won't name it for copyright reasons – you’ll need to find the logo yourself if you want to include it. The image itself is included.
