Hubcap for mbDESIGN rims (65mm ONLY).

The cap does not rotate with the rim but remains consistently aligned.

Ideal for affixing original hubcaps or modifying the brand logo in a contrasting color using Bambu Studio.

Tested with the KV1 rim in 22". (Pictures to follow)

Printed in PETG, ASA, or ABS would be more advisable due to rim temperature (but I don't have any here).

The cap comprises four parts. Unfortunately, there was insufficient space on the cap's reverse side to accommodate a substantial weight; therefore, a portion had to be distributed to the front and back of the cap. Six magnets are used per cap, and eight magnets are employed at the rear of the retaining pin as counterweights. The ball bearing is a standard 608 bearing from the hobby sector. The bearing is simply inserted into the rear of the cap and secured with a ring. The cap is then inserted into the bearing from the front and secured from the rear with a pin. Naturally, ensure the pin, magnets, and cap are aligned. The Z-seam of the cap can serve as a guide, indicating the heaviest point. I recommend additionally gluing the parts together.

The print profiles each include a pause to insert the magnets into the cap and retaining pin.
