【Headline / Intro】 Easily extend or connect your filament path! A quick-to-print and convenient tube connector for your 3D printer.

【What is This?】 This is a 3D printable part designed to connect two PTFE Bowden tubes using standard PC4-M6 pneumatic fittings, allowing you to extend or modify your filament routing.

【Features & Benefits】

  • Smooth Tube Connection: Engineered so that the ends of the PTFE tubes meet smoothly within the printed part, minimizing resistance for reliable filament feeding.
  • Easy and Secure Connection: Utilizes standard PC4-M6 fittings for simple tube insertion/removal and a secure hold.
  • Versatile Applications: Highly useful in various scenarios where you need to lengthen your filament path, create branches or junctions, or route filament from a dry box or storage.
  • Quick to Print: Simple design allows for fast and easy printing.

【Important Notes & Requirements】

  • You will need two PC4-M6 pneumatic fittings. (These are not included with the model.)
  • 【CRITICAL】You MUST use PC4-M6 fittings that allow the PTFE tube to pass completely through them (Passthrough type). Fittings that stop the tube partway through will NOT work correctly with this design.
  • Accurate thread printing is important. Ensure your printer's calibration and slicing settings (layer height, infill, etc.) are suitable for printing precise threads. Adjust as needed based on your filament and printer.

【How to Use】

  1. Download and print the PC4-M6_Tube_Extender.stl file.
  2. Obtain two PC4-M6 (passthrough type) fittings.
  3. Carefully screw one fitting into each end of the printed part. Do not overtighten, but ensure they are snug enough to be secure without damaging the print.
  4. Insert your 4mm O.D. PTFE tubes into the installed PC4-M6 fittings on both ends. The tube ends should meet flush within the printed part.
