Filament Clips New SUNLU Third-Generation Reusable Spool
This is a filament clip for the latest SUNLU spool
3rd generation spool with changed dimensions.
Spool Size: φ200mm × φ55mm
Two profiles are available:
- for the H2D Printer which is more precise, some dimensions are slightly changed, e.g. the hole through which the filament passes
- for X1C/P1S/A1/A1mini printers and others
There are two plates in each profile:
Plate 1 contains :1 clip
Plate 2 contains: 6 clips
The clip is pressed into the original holes in the spool, it has small protrusions which act as a latch.
If you intend to dry your filament, I recommend printing a from ABS/ASA, this will prevent the clip from deforming.
If you use AMS 2 PRO for drying, use PETG at least, preferably ABS/ASA
The clip is compatible with AMS 2 PRO, during drying the spool can rotate freely.
If you don't plan on drying your spools you can use PLA
