Description

Boost Me (for free)

Thank you all for your support and recognition all along. To express my gratitude to you, I will release all the paid models for free recently for everyone to download and print. I hope that you will continue to support me as always in the future, because this is the greatest motivation for me to keep creating and updating models.

bambu-lab X1 P1 3d print head fan duct optimization upgrade v3 (Perfectly Straight UP)
This is also the wind channel that I've been using all the time. Now the model is provided to everyone for free. I hope you'll like it.

NOTE:
Since the air duct is designed for industrial applications, heat-resistant materials are needed. Materials that can withstand a temperature of 300° are recommended.

It is not recommended to use FDM printing. In particular, don't use materials that are not heat-resistant, such as PLA and PETG, for printing. Because the temperature of the print head will melt the consumables, heat-resistant materials are required for printing.

For printing with high-temperature materials such as pa6-cf, pa12-cf/nylon sintering/ABS, etc., with a perfect four-direction air duct that significantly improves the overhanging effect of the original air duct. For overall replacement, just remove the original machine fan and install it. Purchase and install magnetic steel by yourself for non-destructive installation without damaging the original front cover and air duct.

The V3 air duct can effectively solve the problems of dead corners for heat dissipation and fan noise. The original air duct has dead corners for heat dissipation, low heat dissipation efficiency, and requires auxiliary heat dissipation and has loud noise. The V3 new air duct does not require auxiliary heat dissipation. In most cases, 70-80% of the power of the main cooling fan is sufficient. So the noise will be reduced by more than ten decibels. In addition, after replacing the air duct, due to the extremely high heat dissipation efficiency, the printing temperature needs to be increased by 10-20 degrees. For PLA, it is 220-235 degrees, and for PETG, it is 270-280 degrees.

Therefore, the surface of the printed model will be smoother and the model strength will be higher. For printing high-strength models, 2-3 layers are sufficient. For most common models, just use the default settings.

When printing PLA, PETG, and TPU, it is best to open the front door and top cover because the air convection in the box is not smooth and affects heat dissipation. When printing ABS, the door and top cover need to be fully closed, and the wind speed is 30-50%. The auxiliary fan no longer needs to be turned on.

The tool head front cover adopts a hollow design with a cyberpunk sci-fi style, which is more fashionable and personalized. It adds logo parts for printing. The logo can be made of semi-transparent materials such as white PLA and ABS. After installation, the same logo lighting effect as the original machine can be achieved. The tool head front cover also adds an air inlet decorative part, which is perfectly matched and used with the V3 version of the Prusa P1/X1 series print head air duct.
