TPU Garden Hose Gasket/Washer

If you do any type of gardening you know how important a good hose is that doesn't leak.  Most leaks on a garden hose happen at the connection points.  It's usually this gasket/washer that has failed and allowing your water to either spray every where or drip out and down your hand while using a sprayer.  

So I find replacing that old crushed gasket/washer with a new one stops the leak.  Most of the time your problem is solved.  Something so simple and really cheap can cause the lose of so much water or even just make a simple task a pain.  Now you can simply download or just open up your phone go to the handy app and hit print and now you will have 3 ready to go gaskets/washers.  

I do recommend using 95A TPU when printing these gaskets/washer.  The AMS TPU isn't a good one at all for this application.  I do have the TPU profile dialed in and it will print by object.  This reduces stringing if you didn't dry your filament well, which I really recommend.  I also recommend printing TPU on an engineering build plate or a smooth build plate and I personally always use glue stick, so your item will pop right off when you are done.  Hopefully these tips will help you be successful in printing TPU if you have never done it before.  Feel free to ask any question too.  We are always willing to help out where we can. 

 If your looking at downloading it, or changing settings, I really recommend keeping the 4 walls and 6 top and bottom layers.  It will make a difference in how it compares to the originals and insure it doesn't leak.  Like any  gasket/washer you will have to replace this over time.  It will start to compress and fail down the road.  How long that is, it's impossible to say.  I currently have gaskets I've made running in aquarium canister filters now for 5 years and they are still going strong.
