Improved Reusable Spool — Strong, Efficient, AMS / 2 PRO / lite Compatible

A durable and efficient reusable spool designed for reliable performance across a wide range of setups, including AMS, AMS 2 Pro, and AMS Lite.

Tested with Bambu Lab refills and Recycling Fabrik refills.

Key Features:

Optional Temperature Marking: Adjustable in your slicer, this marking shows the maximum drying temperature the spool material can safely handle.
Built-in Filament Clips: Ten integrated clips secure filament ends cleanly without protrusion — ideal for side-by-side storage and AMS 2 PRO rotating drying.
Locking Mechanism: A locking clip keeps the spool securely closed, preventing accidental unlocking during use or transport.
Strength-Optimized Design: A pattern that maximizes strength while minimizing filament consumption.
Refill Compatibility: Works with Bambu Lab, Sunlu, Polymaker and Anycubic refills.

To safely use this spool in a dryer, it’s important to print the spool with a material that can withstand the required drying temperatures.

do you mind if I ask what are you using in the middle, is that for the wee beads, can I ask where you got the file to fit this spool

The spool itself is great. However, I can't get the clip in. When I tighten the spool, there isn't enough space for the clip anymore because there's an edge there. I would be very grateful for a tip! 😊

Hi, the part is not fully engaged. It should be able to rotate further. It can be a bit stiff the first time you use it. It should engage with a click. If this is not possible, please inspect the inner guides for defects that may have occurred during printing

these should be the original Bambu Lab spools! even without a measurement, it can be determined how much filament is still available. Printed with PETG Translucent (there were still leftovers) this will be one of many spools! simply great. Thanks

is it possible to make a file for the mini clip just they havent printed ive printed it 4 times and each time it doesnt print fully. would really appreciate it as I now have 4 full spools but it wont say together in the ams without the little clip, greatly appreciate, thanks in advance

Hi, I've added a print profile for just the clip on a raft. It might help with your adhesion issues. But I recommend cleaning your build plate with dish soap and warm water first.

Beautiful spool, very well designed. I printed it a few times, and I really like how this last one turned out with Bambu Black PETG-HF and Clear PETG for the tag area, with some artifacts in the layers. Thank you for the model !
