Description

HMHS Britannic ship model. Around 24cm long. Painted and colored. The original model is linked below from Thingiverse.

Requiring the following colors:

White
Yellow
Green
Red
Brown

edit: Jan 2026 - Added name of ship underneath, rescaled to 24cm and added 12cm (half-size) print profile to the model.

Did you dry your filament beforehand? It looks underextruded too. I'd recommend printing the bigger model if you can, that one is better on the details

Pretty good! It reports an error from layers 46 to 49 but I couldnt see what the problem was... printed fine. The very thin masts/arials on the top and the cables going up to them are too small to print: some parts are sliced and some are just ignored. I just added a negative part and skipped them all together rather than risk filament floating around. But very happy with result :) For a friends kid (he chose the colour scheme hehe)

This model is very good Two questions 1 - Does it require support 2 - Where do the black and brown go I couldn't identify them in the purge tower I wanted to know so I could arrange the colors in order

Brown are for the tops (covers) of the lifeboats. Black is not used as it seems, this was thought to be used for the anchor but that was too small of a piece to be worth to color in. I'll update the description, thanks. If you want to skip the brown, just replace it with white.
