Description

After trying a lot of different system cases I decided to use the Einhell E-Case System to integrate my Gridfinity bins.

Those two baseplates are tailor fitted for the case so no cutting away is necessary. It is a simple drop in but can also be fixed further with double sided tape along the thicker lines in the grid.

With my bin height I can put two above each other and they fit perfectly with the foam inset on the top. For reference 85-90mm total bin height will work well.

The baseplate is compatible with my custom VERTICAL DIVIDERS as well as with the RUGGED BINS.

I also created a model to replace and customize the TOP LABEL.

What foam did you use for the top cover? And are the pins just press fit?

I personally just used double sided tape to fix the foam to the top lid (foam comes with the case). But one user did upload those cool plugs. I did not yet test them myself .. probably for the next case but I already have 3. 😂

I had the same decision to make .. but remembered in 3D printing there are some things which are much more cost/time efficiant to buy than print completly. That being said I am still waiting for some smart chinese dude to mass produce standard 1U gridfinity bins. I printed a ton myself but feel like they are way too generic and I would rather use my printer to print tool-tailored gridfinity bins. x) I have to fill 20 drawers with standard gridfinity bins next ... that will keep my X1C idle for a while.
