Description
Locking Ball and Socket Joint
Custom .stl file included so you can model as needed.
Printed using PETG
I designed the ball and socket joint to allow for a significant load and still allow movements as needed.
Screw holes are designed for M3 screws.
Immediately after printing, align the nut and the ball, and press with force the nut onto the ball until it slides into the ball's recessed area.

I was looking for a locking ball and socket for an iphone mount I was designing and could not find one. So, I designed and printed my own. I did not need the mount and screw holes for the threaded part. Instead I merged the thread mount onto the iphone mount. I included the .stl file so you can custom design the ball and socket joint to your needs.
