Air Dry Clay - Mini Picture Frame Cutter

Cutter for air dry clay. I wanted to make miniature air dry clay picture frames (as magnets for my fridge), but wasn't pleased by lack of consistency when it came to hand-building the clay. I came up with this cutter design to make these clay frames very easy (and fast!) to churn out. The inside of the frame measures roughly 1.5" wide and 2" tall. 

I cut the picture frames out of DAS Air Hardening clay, coated them in white gesso, then painted on the designs using acrylic paint. Eye hooks are fun to put in before the clay has dried, for hanging up on the wall or as an ornament (superglue will ensure they stay in place, after the clay has dried).
