Description

Couldn't find a model of Mr. Toads gravestone statue from Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom, so here it is. Actual gravestone is located in the pet cemetery outside of the rides exit!

First try the print failed due to a stuck ams. I Was able to split and print toad by himself then glued onto the base.Everything fit together great afterward and the print turned out really well. .

Great print! I split the base and Mr Toad and printed separately to make painting easier. Slowing down the print a bit would help with a few overhang, but not necessary especially of you are doing any post processing. TY for the great upload!

This looks so good! I used PLA basic marble and bronze. lots of supports because it is so tall but detaching was pretty clean.

Any plans for other Disneyland or Disneyworld prints? This one was so elaborate, I can't imagine how long it took you to get it this dialed in.

it really depends on the demand. I had a friend who wanted this for a family member who was a fan so if there’s demand for others I’d love to dive into it.

it looks like you had your brim distance set to .125 which doesn’t cause any of the brim to stick to itself, creating just a circle of unsupportive brim. one of my supports tipped over about 4 hours in. I’m going to try again but so you know you might want to update that! love the print though! hopefully it works this time.

I investigated to make sure it wasn’t any of my settings but because it was a 3mf file it just loaded whatever settings you had. Do you find rectilinear works better for the infill on this print than gyroid? There was a circular/oval infill on the square marble base so I was curious if that was because I switched it to gyroid.

honestly I had mistakenly uploaded it with setting I had on another model. I updated the settings and infill and it should be ready after makerworld verifies

Hey, awesome looking print. How did you get that nice copper effect? Copper PLA and drybrushed black paint?

Hey. yea so for this I printed it in a galaxy black filament the I used “antique gold” rub n buff after to get the brass/copper effect
