This sensory tray includes 3D models of each stage of the butterfly’s life cycle – a leaf with eggs, a caterpillar, a chrysalis (cocoon), and an adult butterfly. Children can explore each stage by touching, matching, and sorting.
If you print the models in black and white, kids can also color them in themselves – an extra activity to boost creativity and fine motor skills.

The sensory tray can be enhanced with different textures and materials – lentils (as eggs), pipe cleaners (caterpillar), yarn (chrysalis), and glittery paper (butterfly wings) – or customized however you like.

Dimensions are: 22x21cm, one ring has an outer diameter of 6cm.
