Description

This is a hard protective case designed to fit a 2024 13 inch MacBook Air.

The MacBook fits perfectly inside holding it secure and helping protect it from damage.

Building Instructions:

  1. Fit the 3 threaded inserts into the hinges at the back of the bottom part.
They should be fitted into the gaps that are even width all the way through, not the gaps with a wide recess and then a narrow recess (Note, one of them faces the opposite direction than the other two).
  2. Place the lid in position and screw in place with the longer screws
  3. Slot the locking part from the left all the way to the unlocked position on the right
  4. Screw M3x4 screw into the hole on the front left of the locking bar on the main base part.

Whilst the MacBook fits perfectly facing either way around (front to front or front to back), I'd suggest putting it in with the front of the Macbook facing the back of the case (as pictured, with the Apple logo facing the front). This is because when you go to remove the Macbook, if you put it in facing the front it can be slightly awkward when removing it as you may open the screen rather than lift the base of the laptop. But this will also come down to personal preference. Either way works.
