Description
Update 24.03.2025: Added a base that can be printed without supports.
Since my teens I've been suffering from migraines attacks. Some periods in my life they really dictate how I live. It affects how I interact with people and I have a hard time communicating how I feel during a migraine attack.
That's why I decided to create this pain indicator. It's easy to use and clearly communicates my state of mind and pain level to my wife and kids.
The indicator consists of the following parts
- Base plate with wall attachment hole
- Dial to indicate pain/mood level
- Pin to secure the dial
- should friction fit but can be glued into the dial
- 5 pain/mood indicators
- best printed in dual color to contrast the emoji on the indicator
- should be glued onto the base
The dial use a print in place friction spring that has 2 purposes
- to secure onto the base
- give a satisfying clicking feel/sound when turning the dial
