Nuka Cola Hub Caps

Nuka Cola Hub Caps designed to fit a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser's stock 17" rims. Including one for the spare tire with an opening for the stock backup camera. This may fit other stock Toyota rims. I would suggest printing a test print with PLA to check the fit. 

This model took a lot of tweaking and printing to get the right fit and print settings for the ABS. Using the Bambu X1C, I would set the bed temperature to 110C and allow the chamber to heat up to 40C before sending a print. I printed one at a time with a .24 layer height to ensure strong layer bonds. I used Hatchbox ABS in Pink and White for this model and I clear-coated it with Krylon Colormax Gloss Clear coat. 

Supports on the spare tire cap left a not so pretty surface. I applied thin coats of acetone with a Q-tip only on that area until I was satisfied with it and let it fully dry before clear coating. I did not want to acetone vapor smooth the whole hub cap as that could ruin the dimensional accuracy of the print. 

I left the flat tops I made for these caps in the print file for modifying to fit other items. I also had one for the 76 logo that I left in the file though I did not print a cap with that logo.
