Description
I think this is not an uncommon issue. Some original version Master System Converters for the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis if you're not from the rest of the world) are often found missing the flap/cover/lid/protector from the top as its hinge was reasonably fragile.
A couple of years ago I found a 3D print for a replacement on Thingiverse, which i was quite happy with at the time, but I found that it was too loose a fit, quite flimsy and there was no raised part in the middle to help you lift it up.
So I've now modelled my own from scratch which solves all of those issues and have shared it for anyone else who might need it.
I hope you don't need to use this, but if you do I hope you find it useful.
The print is best done standing on end to ensure strength in the hinges. It requires supports, so the provided profile makes use of support material for the interfaces to make it easier to remove the supports without scarring the print, and is printed at a fine layer resolution to reduce the appearance of layer lines
