Magnetic Levitation DIY Kit - ZC008

Description

A fun project using the Magnetic Levitation Kit from Maker Supply, inspired by the sky castle from the Ghibli movie Castle in the Sky.

The model requires a fair amount of support. I used tree supports set to "build plate only" and limited them to critical areas to reduce cleanup. Alternatively, a slicer with a "make overhangs printable" feature can give similar results.

The upper windows are open to let light through. To prevent light from leaking through other parts, consider printing the castle in black filament.

The model uses the electronics shell available for download on the MagLev kit’s store page.
