Description
Thank you for Stopping by!
I have tried printing different versions of this Harry Potter wand more than a few times and either they just straight up failed or worse took hours of post processing to get rid of the support marks. It was so frustrating!
I worked some of my own magic and used Fusion 360 and Blender to make this the easiest best wand print you will every try.
Its only 2 pieces and the supports basically fall off! I added a 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) relief through both pieces. So you can use a cheap dollar store skewer or, hear me out. A solid 1/8 inch brass rod cut to length. Its about $7 cnd for 36 inches of it. Its ridged and easily cut with a good pair of side cutters. The difference amazing with the extra weight. No too much but you immediately feel like the wand is a quality piece worthy of being displayed
I printed both out of Bambu light wood PLA and painted the handle with a dark walnut spray paint. After it dried lightly sanded the handle to give it nice looking wear marks.
Give it a try! Levitate your friends :)
Please post comments and pictures!!! They are the best and I love seeing them.
