Description

I have been wanting to get into Check your 6!, a aerial miniatures flight game. However, I was struggling with the stand options available. So, I decided to create a turnbuckle version to adjust altitudes.

The stand has markings for 6 stages of altitude, a speed counter and I added a ammo token (can be printed without). In addition you can easily print in different colors for pilot experience levels.

I added in the plates many of the common adapters used with planes used in the community.

This stand can be used in other games systems as well. Blood Red Skies and AirRaid36/46 for example.

A note on the speed counter, it is a re-mix and the original design of that portion is from  https://makerworld.com/en/models/509132-magic-the-gathering-life-counter-0-99?from=search#profileId-425111).

The print profile has been tested and the stand works well with resin models. Images are of 1/200 scale Plane Printer aircraft. I have tried a few metal fighters and they are okay, but larger twin or four engine metal planes at 1:200 scale are too wobbly at height 6.

I added a Flat bolt print, which although looks less with the cut is much stronger than the original bottom up print on plate 2.
