Wi-Fi Remote Control for WLED with ESP32 C3 SuperMini – Ultra Slim and Universal

In this project, I show you how to build a super compact and ultra slim Wi-Fi remote control based on the ESP32-C3 SuperMini, designed to control any microcontroller running WLED over your local network.
It features 3 capacitive touch buttons, each with 3 actions (single tap, double tap, long press), allowing for 12 customizable functions in total.

🔧 Key Features:

  • Compatible with any WLED-based microcontroller (ESP8266, ESP32, etc.)
  • Simultaneous control of multiple projects via virtual LEDs (ON AIR text, LED matrix, Christmas tree, and more)
  • 3D-printed customizable case with three different design options
  • Visual feedback through translucent segments aligned with the touch buttons
  • Easy-to-follow wiring diagram and compact design

📦 Main Components:

  • ESP32-C3 SuperMini
  • 3x Capacitive Touch Sensors
  • 3D Printed Case (3 design variants available)
  • Optional M2 threaded inserts and countersunk screws
  • Silicone feet for better stability

Perfect for makers looking for a physical, wireless interface to manage their WLED-based projects.

All 3D models are fully customizable in color and finish, so you can match your personal style or project theme.

Check out the full YouTube video for detailed assembly steps, wiring, network setup, and WLED configuration.
You’ll also find links to related project tutorials that can be controlled with this remote.
