Description

I was looking for a way to mount an ADS-B antenna on a window air conditioner at my house. After not finding one, I decided to make one. This was the result of my efforts. Has been up on the AC with no issues for several weeks now and boasts a pretty good reception range (200+ NM), given my location and the elevation of the antenna itself. The antenna I used is a FlightAware vertical antenna, but it will fit most commonly used antennas.

Used a 81mm magnet that I purchased from my local Harbor Freight as the “Magnetic Base” which is held in place by a nut and bold with a washer in the mix.

Recommend printing using a material other than PLA due to the exposure. In my case, I used ABS. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message.
