Boost Me (for free)

If you like my model and consider it useful, Please consider giving me a Boost!

Made with the “Roll You're Own” community in mind. Designed to fit 20 king sized cigarettes. Perfectly holds an entire pack of cigarettes with a contoured inside while keeping them safe with this truly crush proof, flip top outer shell. The flip top lid snaps securely closed with rounded detents on both sides, and is still easily opened by hand, but not in your pocket or bag. The top is secured to the bottom with a piece of 1.75 filament acting as a hinge, making this entirely made from 3D printing material. This was designed with size in mind to make sure it is no bigger than an average (store bought) cigarette case.

NO EXTRA HARDWARE IS NECESSARY!

I suggest before assembling top to bottom with filament hinge, to run a piece of filament through the printed hinge holes working it back and forth to smooth them with friction. This will help greatly help with assembly! This can be printed with as low as 10% infill successfully. When I printed this with 50% infill, I was able to run it over with my truck and it only had scuffs from pavement.

I like that they’re blank so you can personal it. Have to position it laying down to prevent filament waste. But came out great! My mum loves wolves, so this is a present for her. I made it a bit longer too because she smokes superkings haha!

Right now there is only a 100 box for my Marlboro box. Evidently I uploaded it without putting a picture of my actual model printed so Makersworld took it down. I only uploaded a picture of an example taken from studio. When my printer stops running i will print a 100s box and upload the pictures so I can add the file again. I will send you a message to alert you.

the printing comes out really good, the only thing that was different was the size of the hole to put the filament in the lid opening, how do I increase the hole of the part

I've already increased the hole size. It is meant to be very snug so it doesn't come loose. You could try a drill bit carefully.

Is there anything I can help you with or change to improve this model to possibly bring your rating up? Without any explanation of your rating I am not sure what issues you may have had with this model.

You're right, sorry for not providing more info. One more star for your reply, nice to see. My only suggestion for improvement is to make the holes in the hinge with a slightly bigger diameter, as a 1.75mm filament is quite hard to insert. I think a 0.2mm more tolerance would help. thank you!

Next chance I get I will reprint to check tolerance. I will either adjust or add 2nd profile with slightly larger hinge holes. I appreciate you giving me this info.
