I’ve seen tons of small secondary PC screens and really wanted one — but decided to make my own using just my phone!
As a big fan of retro tech, I designed this Mac-inspired phone stand so I can use my phone as a secondary laptop screen. It’s super easy to set up using the free app Spacedesk (just install it on both your PC and phone).
This stand also works great in standby mode. Since I’m using a Samsung phone, I just installed the StandBy app from the Play Store.
I designed the model specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S23 (also fits the S24).
Current dimensions:
Phone slot – 158.7 x 77.1 x 13 mm
Visible screen area – 139.2 x 65.6 mm
The model is parametric and comes with Fusion and .STEP files, so you can tweak it to fit your phone.
Future plans: if this gets popular, I’ll make versions for other phones, add wireless charging, and even build a retro CRT-style version with an old-school PC look.
If you like this model, please consider leaving a like or boost to support my work—it really helps!
