Description
With this version, the planter has been upsized to 125mm (4.5"), making it suitable for a wider variety of plants. The form remains true to its design roots, elevated by a base inspired by traditional Japanese stone lanterns. The base is fully optional, allowing flexibility depending on your aesthetic or functional preferences.
The overall silhouette is based on a superellipse curve, offering a softer and more refined alternative to the typical cylindrical pot. Smooth, rounded edges combined with a dimensional Kumiko pattern create a design that is both visually rich and tactilely engaging.
This design is not only about aesthetics—it’s thoughtfully engineered for everyday usability:
- The hollow body includes a detachable water tray, making it easy to monitor water levels and support bottom watering.
- The removable base stand enhances airflow, encouraging better ventilation and drainage.
