Description
Following a phase of meticulous design and practical field testing, I am pleased to present this protective fin developed in collaboration with Luca, custom-designed for the Marlon Bando frame.
The design is engineered to provide maximum protection in the event of impacts, leveraging the flexibility and resilience of TPU This material is crucial to ensuring the model's performance; no other filament offers the same shock absorption capacity while maintaining the shape and structural integrity.
Thanks to its compact yet functional geometry, the fin can be printed with 100% infill without the weight negatively impacting drone performance Indeed, the robustness achieved with this setting makes it particularly suitable for acrobatic or freestyle flight scenarios, where impacts are inevitable.
The design is compatible with the Marlon Bando frame's form and mounts simply and precisely No supports are required during printing, and maximum adhesion to the frame is ensured.
Printing in TPU Shore 95A or similar is recommended for a good balance between rigidity and flexibility
