Description

Sculpture Name: Alyonera Vires
【Name Interpretation】
“Alyonera” blends the Ancient Greek “alyos” (contradiction) and “nera” (rebirth), while “Vires” is taken from the Latin for “life force.” The full name signifies “the life force bursting forth from contradiction,” each syllable subtly hinting at the interplay of light and shadow.
【Sculpture Form】
The maiden's left wing is composed of burning feathers, each tip crystallized with stardust-like ice; her right wing is a solidified lava bone wing, with liquid moonlight flowing through its cracks. Her pupils are double helix structured, her left iris inlaid with miniature heavenly hymn runes, and her right eye etched with hellfire totems; a self-devouring Ouroboros necklace encircles her neck.
【Core Imagery】
She stands barefoot on a shattered scale of justice, her left hand cradling a chaotic orb imprisoning a weeping six-winged angel, her right hand wielding a dark matter dagger dripping purifying blood. Her spine is composed of alternating luminous arcane crystals and matte obsidian, echoing the twelve sets of opposing elements in the periodic table.
【Philosophical Expression】
This sculpture subverts traditional boundaries of good and evil, showcasing a third state of existence that transcends binary opposition through 200 meticulously crafted contradictory constructions (such as a crown of thorns blooming with healing flowers). When viewed from a fourth perspective, all opposing elements project a unified icosahedral shadow under specific lighting.
【Interactive Mechanism】
A resonance device built into the base causes the sculpture to change with environmental emotional fluctuations: in anger, the wings spread, releasing a purifying storm; in sadness, crystallized tears nurture miniature galaxies; in a calm state, it continuously emits infrasound waves of a healing frequency.
The name and form together construct a multi-dimensional narrative labyrinth, inviting viewers to reconsider the boundaries of their self-perception within paradoxical aesthetics. This work refuses simple categorization, as its name Alyonera indicates—true transcendence begins with the tearing away of ingrained labels.
