Designed for the outdoors, this rugged case is 100% 3D printed – no screws required.

The frame includes built-in slots for cords, straps, or small carabiners, making it easy to attach to a backpack, bike, belt, or hang in a tent.

The snap-lock system offers a secure, reliable, and easy-to-use closure, while the hinges are engineered to be smooth, precise, and durable.

 

 

PRINTING GUIDELINES:

  • The design and tolerances have been optimized for 3D printing with a 0.16mm layer.
  • Print hinges and snap locks preferably on smooth plate with glue.
  • Print the lids preferably on textured plate with glue.
  • It is highly recommended to keep the profile configurations and the arrangement of objects on the print bed intact.

 

INSTRUCTION:

  • STEP 1: Assemble the hinges and take the bottom lid (look at the shape of the joint in the image below).

     

     

  • STEP 2: Slide the hinges into the slots. In case of tolerance issues during the printing process, the hinges may be slightly loose. In such a case, it is recommended to add a very small amount of superglue.

     

     

  • STEP 3: Insert the other end of the hinges into the slots on the top lid.

     

     

  • STEP 4: Insert the bottom parts of the snap locks into the slots on the bottom lid.

     

     

  • STEP 5:  Insert the top parts of the snap locks into the slots on the top lid. Make sure to completely remove the brim from the parts.

  • STEP 7 (OPTIONAL): Insert the elastic cord into the holes in the top lid. You can easily find it online (this is one of many on amazon).
