120 Film Holder for Flatbed Scanners

A Holder for 120 film negatives when scanning with Epson Perfection V700 or V800 series scanners.

Should be printed in Black filament, PLA is fine.

Filament is used for the hinge of the holder and 4x 6x2mm magnets are used to keep the film in place. (same size as gridfinity)

The film sits at the optimal height for a sharp image and aligns with the focus of the scanner well.

The magnets on the end of the holder as well as the hinges ensure that the film is held flat, while the hinge tolerance is such that the film can go underneath for scanning a whole roll without cutting it.

This holder allows for roll scanning without cutting the film, so you can keep APS films in the canister for storage. Just ensure to load the film from behind the hinge as the 3D Printed layer lines may make it difficult to load from the front and damage your film if you try to push too hard.

Works excellently and has been tested with Epson V700 Photo / Epson V750 Pro / Epson V800 Photo / Epson V850 Pro flatbed film scanners.
