Description
Introducing the simple Archimedes screw hand crank water pump.
A simple model that I made for my son to demonstrate a hand crank water pump principle.
Measures 6"H x 1.3"W x 1.3"D (152mmH x 33mmW x 33mmD)
~4 hour print time
Print with a brim for adhesion on the inner screw part.
Print from PLA
Uses a standard ¼" (6.4mm) square drive that can be turned with a ¼" wrench or the included handle.
Print the pieces by object, remove the adhesion brim from the inner screw and you are ready to move some water.
Fun little experiment/ science project.
