Simple 2-Part Drawer Stopper – Holds Drawer Closed
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
This is a handy little two-part clip to keep drawers from sliding open on their own. One part mounts to the top edge of the drawer, and the other to the underside of the cabinet above. When the drawer is closed, the peak of the drawer piece slides into a matching recess in the top piece, holding it shut with light resistance.
Perfect for drawers that tend to drift open, especially in older furniture or mobile setups (like campers or 3D printer carts). The whole setup is simple, low-profile, and attaches with double-sided tape—no drilling or screws needed.
It's designed to be flexible and can be glued or taped into place to match your specific setup.

Dimensions & Requirements
- Needs 25mm clearance above the drawer to install the top part.
- Originally made for a drawer with a 6mm gap to the top, but since it’s taped on, it can be adjusted to fit many setups.
Assembly / Installation
- Use double-sided tape to attach each part—one on the top of the drawer, one to the underside of the cabinet top.
- Align so the peak smoothly enters the recess when the drawer is closed.
- Done!
Visibility
- The stopper is visible when you open the drawer, but stays mostly hidden when closed.
