“The roar of the mech's engines heralds my arrival.”
Previously, MW held a tissue box design competition, but I lacked inspiration and didn't participate. Subsequently, MO launched an almost identical one… Fine, fine, fine.
But the more I think about it, the more I feel I missed out. A moment of hesitation brought forth a lifetime of regret!!!
I'll make one immediately! I must complete it today!!
Wouldn't this be a mecha enthusiast's dream?
- Maintains the SRU Stony Universe aesthetic (drawing inspiration from the launch area of my own Apex Dynamics LF-1 Outpost; LP-01 here signifies Launch Port 1)
- Employs a modular design, with four replaceable decorative panels (however, due to material shrinkage, adhesive may be required for secure attachment. Oil-based super glue is recommended)
- The lid and base connect magnetically, requiring eight 6x2mm cylindrical magnets
- Offers dual functionality:
- Perfectly accommodates standard-sized tissue boxes
- Serves as a personalized storage container (I even created a four-grid compartment; see print profile for details)
- 【2025.4.20 Update】: Epic Update—Ultrasonic Sensing Module!

- Connects to the side of the tissue box via a new magnetic docking device (can also stand alone as an ornament)
- Displays indoor temperature and humidity with impressive visual flair
- Utilizes ultrasonic distance measurement; a wave of the hand within 10cm of the tissue box front activates the screen for 8 seconds
- Requires an Arduino UNO development board
- Requires several Dupont wires [male-to-female type, approximately 15]
- Requires a soldering iron and related soldering accessories
- Requires a DHT11 temperature and humidity module
- Requires an SR04 ultrasonic distance measurement module
- Requires a 1602A LCD screen (not the IIC type, the 16-pin version)
- Requires Arduino IDE development software (I've provided the code, see Document 1)
- Requires precise wiring (see Document 2)
