Description

Need a blade for light-duty tasks where a metal edge isn't necessary or desired? These 3D printed plastic blades fit standard utility knife handles. While they are made of plastic and cannot replicate the cutting performance of a metal blade, they are surprisingly useful for tasks like:

  • Package opener without damaging contents (puncture and slice)
  • Scraping soft materials or stickers from surfaces (gentler than metal, great for print bed and glass)
  • Crafting applications (e.g., scoring paper, cutting modelling clay)
  • Dummy Blades for Fidget (compatible with tons of great models, much safer than spinning the real thing!)

Try them out! A practical, non-metallic alternative for specific light tasks and fun!

2 types of blades to choose from:

  • Trapezoid
  • Hooked
  • Others? (make a request)

3 blade angles to choose from:

  • 90° flat edge (strongest)
  • 45° angle edge (sharper)
  • 25° angle edge (weakest, closest to original)

Very good print, no issues works perfectly except two issues: shows layers, and isn’t that sharp.

Thanks! For the layer lines, you can try decreasing the layer thickness.

Please make a 60 degree 9mm snap-off blade like the image, thank you so much! (Basically a Stanley blade)

this is just what I was looking for. my son goes to boy scouts and sometimes needs to bring his knife over airways, so i printed him this along with a small utility knife that fits in the weird pocket in your jeans. 5 stars.

These printed out great in Bambu Orange Translucent PETG. Used them for testing and showing people a model that holds a razor blade. Thank you for sharing this project with us!

You're most welcome! Oooh... I'll have to try translucent and transparent too!

Are these dimensions the same as official Stanley blade or are they generic?
