Description
Underpressure Aquarium Filter Bucket, please use plumber's tape on all threaded connections, and some parts require 502 glue (or other glass glue, etc.) for bonding and fixing.
Working principle of the filter bucket: The water pump is connected to the outlet to pump water (creating negative pressure), water from the aquarium enters through the inlet, waste will form a vortex due to the rotating outlet and reach the physical filtration layer (filter cotton), and finally the water flows out. Multiple filter buckets can be stacked, for example, the first bucket contains physical cotton, then the second and third buckets can be connected.
I use a Chuangning 18w water pump.
For those using the underpressure filter bucket for the first time, remember the siphon principle; you need to fill the filter bucket with water in advance. A simple way is to connect both the inlet and outlet pipes vertically upwards and level, then pour water into one pipe, once the water level in both pipes is the same, connect the pump to the outlet, and immediately place the inlet into the aquarium.
