Description

This is a nespresso Vertuo coffee pod sorter. depending on your tray, I had to print four of them to replace the original trays I had. this is nice because you could actually have a forth one hold different sized pods. I made them open so that coffee grounds don't collect in them.

there is an open end option and a closed end. I would stick to the open end if you are printing multiple for one drawer and the closed end if you are printing it for stand alone.

I plan to update this with more information in the future.

This model comes closest to what I needed, so I used this as a starting point. There are a few things that I had to adjust and would recommend to add to the model (having one row instead of always a double-row – was needed to fit the right amount of rows into a drawer & an easy mechanism to click/slide two parts together instead of clueing them together). Also, as a beginner (history of 15 prints so far), I was a bit shocked by the amount of filament that is being used compared to other prints.. I am currently waiting for the delivery of a new roll of filament so I can finish the coffee drawer. Maybe a hollow version of it would also fit for the purpose but use up less filament? But this is above my current skills, so no clue if possible. But keep in mind, this is criticism on a high level – it is a great model, I am happy that I found it and was able to modify it and learn some skills in that process! Thanks for that!

hey! when I tested my prints, 1 wall thickness was so thin it would sometimes seperate taking it off the plate so I kept it at 2 wall thickness. you could reduce to 1 wall but be careful taking it off the plate! best of luck :)
