Babycam Bracket & Monitor Mount for Car Use

Description

I designed this babycam bracket to improve the mounting of a baby monitor camera in the car. I bought a babycam to keep an eye on my baby who sits in a rear-facing car seat, but the original mounting method—using a strap to attach the camera to the headrest—wasn't secure enough. Although it's meant to be universal for all vehicles, I found that it often shifted out of position due to vibrations or when getting in and out of the car, requiring frequent readjustments.

So, I created this custom bracket for a more stable and consistent mounting solution. While it can still occasionally be bumped, it holds its position much better than the original design. I've been using it for several months and it has performed very reliably.

In addition to the camera bracket, I also designed a monitor mount that attaches the babycam display to the dashboard or interior trim using double-sided adhesive tape. This eliminates the need for suction cups or vent clips, offering a cleaner, more secure setup without obstructing air vents or view.

Installation

Slide the babycam into the slot.

Slide the bracket onto the two headrest rods.

Adjust the viewing angle as needed.

Purpose

The monitor mount provides a simple and reliable way to mount your babycam display on the car’s dashboard or interior panel. It ensures easy visibility and strong adhesion with minimal intrusion.

Installation

1.Thoroughly clean the dashboard or trim surface.

Apply strong double-sided adhesive tape to the mount’s base.

Attach the monitor to the mount.

Press and hold the mount firmly in place.

Tip: Install on flat, clean surfaces for best results.
