Description

Gridfinity holder for the Stewmac String Action Gauge. This is for their part number 0670, though I suspect the metric version 

(0670-M) would also fit. 

 

Model Details:

  • Dimensions (gridfinity units) - 2X x 3Y x 3Z
  • Stackable? - Yes
  • Multicolor? - Yes: 3mm lip on top edge.
  • Magnets? - No: Fit is good to gridfinity but does not “snap” in - aka easily moveable.

I've been experimenting with infill for gridfinity containers and generally like to print with 7-8% gyroid infill and no supports. Works well for my needs!

 

I'm working toward outfitting my entire woodworking/luthier (guitar building) toolbox fo gridfinity, so many more models to come!

As much as I love organizing with Gridfinity, once we start spending almost 2 hours to print something that holds something the size of a business card and takes up 25x the space, I think we may have gone too far.

A fair critique! I just have my entire toolbox set up for the gridfinity system to keep things from sliding around and sadly a vertical orientation didn’t work for my drawer height. I’m big into 5S style systems to help me keep organized, but it is 100% true as you have said that with all gridfinity bins you take up more space than you otherwise would.
