Description
This is a Cover for the Nintendo Switch 2 Docking Station in a Super Mario style – also compatible with the original Nintendo Switch!
Latest version now available! Featuring new ventilation holes and sleek, Switch 2–inspired curves on the back. The model is slightly larger to ensure the Switch fits into the dock even if printers don’t print to exact dimensions.
This model is a thoughtful evolution of the popular docking station by Rocky00780, (original Link down) whose work inspired this project. The design closely follows his original, as I carefully reconstructed all the same models. I also listened to the community’s feedback on his design and integrated many of their suggestions into my version.

ZELDA TEARS OF THE KINGDOM SWITCH 2 COVER:
No AMS - No GLUE:
My goal was to create a docking station that requires neither AMS nor glue – for both printing and assembly. Every part simply snaps together and holds firmly, with no adhesives needed.
Improvements:
The staircase and block now feature deeper grooves and smoother transitions between the sides. The Piranha Plant parts are easier than ever to assemble and securely hold the stem (Stem is longer). The eyes of the star and cloud are now just pressed in – no glue required! The pipes now have space for Switch game cards (an idea from Ensi666). The question mark block has pre-made slots so the question marks can be snapped in perfectly straight on every side.
The Sky:
I added a Sky, which has space for three clouds. This plate is simply clamped in at the back. The dock is available both with and without the Sky.
If you prefer the classic black of the Switch, you can print the dock for the Sky (Dock_Plate.3mf) and simply leave the Sky plate out.

Printing:
Pre-configured print profiles for each color are available for download. No adjustments are necessary – everything is already optimized and tested. The “All_parts.3mf” file contains the raw models, in case you want to make your own modifications.

- Walls: 2
- Infill: 10%
- Infill Pattern: Gyroid
- Supports: Not needed
- Brim: Required for the eyes and the question mark dots
