Description

Modular Turntable System for 3D Scanning & Photogrammetry
 

This modular turntable system is specifically designed for 3D scanning and photogrammetry applications. It consists of four segments that securely connect using magnets and a central, interchangeable base plate. Thanks to its split design, the turntable is easy to print, transport, and store – optionally in a practical Gridfinity-compatible storage box.

A STEP file for the base plate is included, allowing easy customization for different turntable sizes.

• Turntable diameter: 30 cm
• Central base plate fits turntables from 24 cm and up

• Magnet connectors: 16× 3 × 3 mm neodymium magnets or printable connectors
• Underside magnets: 36× 6 × 3 mm neodymium magnets

Assembly Notes
 

• Each connection point requires magnets (e.g., 6 × 3 mm neodymium)
• Ensure correct magnet polarity – test before gluing
• Alternatively, segments can be connected using printable clip connectors

• 6 × 3 mm magnets can also be used on the underside to attach scanning accessories

Am I mistaken or are the holes for the magnets 8mm? How do you put a 6x3mm magnet in there? Maybe I meant 8x3mm
