Instant Closet - Foldable Wall Hook for Hangers

This big foldable wall hook is designed to create an instant closet. We use these to store our empty hangers, and it can hold a fair number. 

No assembly is required. It prints in place. No screws, no nuts, bolts, or tools. But you will need at least one command strip. It is sized to be mounted with an extra large command strip, which is rated to hold 5 pounds. 

When unfolded, it sticks out from the wall about 166 mm. It is about 25 mm wide and 171 mm tall. 

In the print profile, it prints standing up, with a 10 mm brim. Because the print is so tall, I added the brim to keep the print secure. Given the weight that will bear on this hook, I recommend PETG or another strong filament that will not permanently deform under load. 

This model is based upon Tattooed1980's excellent “Foldable Wall Hook 2024 (Print in Place)” which is linked. I highly recommend it if you need a smaller hook. 

For my design, I removed the screw holes in order to make it compatible with command strips (if I stick screws in my walls, I will just need to fix them later). I made the model much larger in terms of scale, so that it can hold the weight intended. And then I lengthened the body and arm considerably, in order to accommodate many clothes hangers.
