✅ Important Notes (Read Before Printing!)
⚠️ This egg is THICC.
It's meant to be cracked open – but unlike the smaller ones, this one’s got armor. You’ll need a solid bonk to reveal your golden dragon. No mini hammer allowed. 💥🐲
⏸️ There’s a built-in pause layer to insert the dragon, scroll label, and coins inside the egg.
Make sure your slicer doesn't skip it – if it does, reload the model before assigning colors, then slice.
Manually add a pause if needed (check layer preview!).
📦 Insert order matters!
Always place the dragon first, then extras like scroll & coins.
Otherwise the dragon might stick out and smack your nozzle 😱
📏 Scroll insert is made for A4 paper – print without scaling.
If it turns out a bit large, fold it and tuck it under the dragon.
🖨️ Test print one egg first – the outer shell prints cleanly, but it’s thick and solid.
A brim is recommended for better adhesion.
⚙️ The egg has no supports, but depending on your machine, a little z-hop or slower top layer helps avoid stringing on the inner pocket.
🐉 Articulated tail and head = wiggly dragon vibes after the hatch!
🚫 Not a toy – not suitable for children
Contains small parts (and mythic energy not safe for mortal hands).
⏸️ Important: Pause Info for Dragon Egg Insertion
This model uses one built-in pause layer – timed perfectly so you can insert the dragon, scroll, and coins before the egg seals itself shut.
🛠️ How to make sure the pause works:
- Bambu Lab Users:
Sometimes, assigning filament colors before importing the model causes Bambu Studio to skip the pause.
✅ To fix it:
→ Reload the model
→ Assign colors
→ Then slice
This usually restores the embedded pause! - Other slicers:
If your slicer doesn’t auto-detect the pause layer, just find the correct layer (check preview image) and manually "Add Pause" there.
- or you cane use this egg:

- Psst… there’s more!
🧠 I’ve also prepared tiny scroll-style label inserts you can place inside the egg — each one includes a fun little fact about the dragon you just hatched! 📜
Print them on A4 paper, without scaling.
If you resize the sheet, the scroll might not fit inside the egg 🥚 But no worries — if it turns out a bit too big, just fold it gently and tuck it under the Dreggon before sealing the egg.
(Just watch out — printers love blowing lightweight paper around mid-print 😅)- Are you a commercial-tier patron?
