Description
ClonePod is a simple yet effective tool for plant propagation through air layering, a method ideal for broadleaf (deciduous) plants such as roses, fruit trees, and woody shrubs.
The model is print-in-place, requires no supports, and is ready to use straight off the print bed. Just add a growing medium and clamp it around the prepared branch.
✅ Print-in-place
✅ No supports required
✅ Easy to open, close, and reuse
✅ Designed for multiple branch sizes🔄 How to use:
Carefully remove the bark from a section of the branch about 2 cm long. This girdled area should be aligned with the center of the ClonePod sphere, where the rooting will occur.🌱 Recommended filling:
For best results, fill the ClonePod with a moist, well-aerated mix — I suggest a blend of potting soil, sphagnum moss, coconut fiber (coir), and perlite. This creates an ideal environment for root formation: humid yet breathable.📏 Tip: Choose the right size based on your branch’s diameter — each file name ends with the corresponding stem size (e.g., ClonePod_10mm.stl).
♻️ Sustainable gardening – Unlike traditional air layering with plastic bags or cellophane wrap, ClonePod is reusable, reduces plastic waste, and helps you propagate plants while respecting the planet.
