I found a model for a moving double hung window for dollhouse on printables.com
After scaling to fit an inherited dollhouse I found several adaptations necessary for reliable printing and movement on an A1 mini printer.
The original author declared no supports needed to print, however I found that much stringing happens on the casing due to the ‘printing in air’ rendering the casing unusable. As a warning, allowing a slicer to auto-place supports makes support removal a brutal task. On the attached bambu 3mf file the supports are hand placed to provide ‘just enough’ support to control stringing on the bridges. The supports I painted in are the MINIMUM. If you reslice with your profiles I strongly suggest hand painting supports, use Tree(manual) type and style Tree Slim, on baseplate only needs to be checked, 1mm branch diameter and 60º branch angle. I used hollow base pattern on the support per a suggestion elsewhere but found that didn't make any difference.
I can't say it enough, getting the supports right took me a LOT of tries, the supports will make this work, getting them wrong will mess up your plan. I've got a dozen failed prints in the trash. However I've printed 24 successfully with the model I uploaded. I've included my latest modifications to the stl files if you want to work from those, I'd suggest you re-read and heed my comments on the supports structures if you want to work from the stl files.
The moving window sashes lay flat on the build plate with no support needed.
Scaling the windows to fit your opening works well. Turn off uniform scaling!!! Uniform scaling is not your friend modifying the size on these. I seriously suggest not scaling the thickness any thinner than it is in the models I uploaded, supports are again the issue, thinner is NOT better! Thicker you could do, but I doubt you'd want to.
The model uploaded fits an opening approx. 75mm x 150mm and is 10mm thick. I tried printing at 7mm thickness, that did not end up well entirely because of the limitations of support structures, there I go again harping on the supports.
The sashes get installed in the casing by flexing the sidewalls of the casing just enough to pop the sashes in.
I have printed this in both Bambu PLA Basic and Silk PLA+ without trouble
