Description

Due to feedback requests we are proud to release our next model in the Keeping It Fun For The Kids coaster series.  This is a second and also common world war II RAF roundel.  This model is as the others, designed to print with clean quality and look professional.  It is offered in the same way as the others available in 4 plates ready to go with varying numbers of coasters on the plate to allow the most convenient ability to print in quantities required and in the most material efficient way possible.  Each coaster takes about an hour to print, therefore the 04 plate with 4 coasters takes roughly 4h.

This model is a bit more technical that the previous as it is a 5 color print. It requires an AMS but uses a method where you change a non used pre-alocated filament spool and slot in the AMS.    NOTE:  I recommend setting the slot location of the sand beige/coaster body color, into the same slot location of the Red whichever slot that is in your AMS just confirm before printing.  As i sliced on my system the red was one of the first colors finished up in the print order of the first

3 multi color layers giving you plenty of time to do the swap. I have also added a print pause which may be helpful as well though it is not necessary.  *note while the print is in progress the system will not read a new rfid tag so your printer will not varify a color.  Its one thing bambu could fix with an update. The AMS will also not properly load the filament like usual. its ok, you just load the new color in by hand and it will pick up when it gets there.

We want this print file to not make people afraid to try it.  I've set it up and tested it and it worked just fine.  You just need to be around for layer 3 red to finish and do the swap once it changes to the next color.

We hope you Enjoy this model and hope new 3d print enthusiasts can enjoy learning something new and growing in their experience with this model.

Thank you. It's been a while since I've uploaded anything new but I hope to close out this series fairly soon for now, and begin on some other types of things. My kids have been beginning to cad in tinker and want to also develop some models to share as well which was the main point of starting this in the first place haha!
