It means a lot to me and motivates me to do more technically interesting projects like this one (don't forget to follow my profile for more projects :):

This is best DX antena for 11m band - CB band

If you DXing Hexbeam -  is BEST 2 element directional antena you can have.

if you want a bit more gain and 3 element yagi check, there will be soon my other project SKYPPER / SPIDERBEAM,

Keep in mind is bigger havier and lenght of rods is a problem but… its your choice :)

Based on https://www.dx-antennas.com/HexBeam.html
 and:         https://www.hex-beam.com

doesn't need a high mast - just 6 m above the ground You will have good swr and you strongest signal in and out for international DXing.

  • is for 11m BUT easy to change for 5 HAM bands 50/10/12/15/17m just by using longer rods like 3m and more prepared holders
  • is very light and wind proof, so you can use any kind of rotator - also easy to fix :)
  • extremely cheap -  just print and less than 50$ for a parts !
  • easy to build - most difficult parts are printed :)+
  • easy to transport

Most important parts are printed and strong enough :) weather resistant.

With this printed parts and short additional which can be found in any “diy shop” like “bricko” you can build this antena just in few hours,

(parts listed and examples provided)

Is prepared for preferable pipes and rods dimensions which are listed below (or similar)

Mast pipe: fi 40mm, wall thickness 2mm

Center post pipe: 1" PCV pipe (33,40mm external diameter)

rods: 8mm, 200mm length

BUT - you can use parametrical file with described parameters to customize it to any pipe or rod.

if you want to change it a bit - go to "download stl/cad file" instead of “open in Bambustudio” and download  *.f3d file

change ONLY  “favorite paramiters” described.
