Description

IMPORTANT:

DO NOT CHANGE THE WAY THESE KEYCAPS ARE LAYED. THIS ENSURES STRENGTH IN THE  KEYCAPS' PRONGS. PLEASE USE THE PRINT PROFILE INCLUDED. I HAVE TESTED A LOT OF DIFFERENT SETTINGS, THE INCLUDED PROFILE ENSURES THE BEST POSSIBLE STRENGTH, WHILE ALSO NOT REQUIRING ANY SUPPORTS OR BRIMS. THE KEYCAPS ADHERE PERFECTLY TO THE BED AND HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO PRINT PERFECTLY, WITHOUT SUPPORTS, WHILE ALSO BEING UPRIGHT ENOUGH FOR THE PRONGS TO BE STRONG.

After 20 different model iterations, each testing different keycap strength, comfort, and style, this print provides a set of low-profile keycaps mainly for G915/G913/G815/G813 keyboards

The main priority in these models was precision and strength. Replacement keycaps for these keyboards are extremely hard to find, and the ones available to print weren't strong at all, even when printed vertically (so the prongs/legs and the back of the keycap are one entire layer to increase strength).

This is why I took the time and effort to create a set of keycaps which are very strong, together with different variations.
The models created are for the following:

  1. Standard keycap (used for the numbers, arrows, and letters).

  2. Slightly wider keycap (used for the ALT, FN, WIN, CMND.

  3. Wider keycap with pronged slots (used for the CTRL, TAB), which allows for precise positioning of the metal springs on both ends.

Every keycap has three variations, these are as follows:

  1. With edges
  2. Default (slightly rounded edges)
  3. Rounded edges

It is entirely up to one's preference on which to use; these styles have been separated into different plates for convenience.

I printed these in 3 different materials: ABS, PLA, and PETG. All of which came out as desired :)

A lot of effort went into creating these keycaps, please let me know if you like them :)

Should you have any comments on how the model can be improved, please let me know!

Other than that, if you are completely satisfied and found these keycaps helpful, a boost would be greatly appreciated!
